As we get closer to the elections, I would like to share why I think TVK is my choice and how I have convinced my family to vote for Whistle.
Under the current govt,
Right from the protest of the visually impaired , sanitation workers and every other form of protest has been grossly mismanaged and they have been treated with absolute cruelty.

If a party doesn't even have the kuraindha patcha nermai and has to resort to tricks like printing out fake coupons , filling multiple candidates with the same name as opposition in every election is that the good party?

What you call a lesser evil is

-a party that white washes ppl like svs, sb, sbabu and matrum palar.

-a party under which the casteist atrocities are increasing & the victims never get justice despite calling themselves samooga needhi katchi.

- a party under which police brutalities go unchecked and women/children safety issues are on the rise, to the extent that the anonymity of the women, the victim who complained was not protected and their identity were exposed.

-a party that is so heavily focussed on their public image by controlling the media

-a party that proudly invented the culture of white umbrella

- a party filled with so many corruption allegations against most of the senior ministers

- a party that has monopoly over even the movie industry

- a party that ensures they have no political rivalry by painting them evil incarnate but conveniently using the same ppl to canvass by buying them out in the next elections.

- a party that is actively consuming all the other smaller left leaning parties

If all these remind you of another central party, you would know that these ppl are no less.

Apart from all the issues around the current opposition party , they did so poorly as opposition that the current ruling party thought they were on for a smooth sailing win in 2026.

Election is your opportunity to decide if the people in power did a good job to everyone.

Saying they are bad but they still deserve a chance goes against even the basic essence of the electoral process.

TVK chief could have the most comfortable life if only he had chosen to align himself with this oligarchy just like the other industry stalwarts did.
Their manifesto is impressive and the party is not trying to actively take advantage of the flaws of the electoral process. They have actively rejected all the crooked tricks that are associated with the campaigning process.

Vijay has held his stand and has refused to give in to the pressure of the state and central parties even when the release of his last movie was delayed and other legal troubles arose.

I trust that voting for TVK will only bring improvements. The party and 'MOST' of the candidates fielded have individually done so much good work in each of their locality.

Most ppl bash tvk without making efforts to see what they’ve done and please don’t reject it just bcos you hate the actor or believe the hogwash that they have no ideology or party workers.

Standing against him just bcos you are inclined to the politics of one family that is sailing through its past glory and only a problematic present is not exactly the wise choice.

Make way for new and better leaders and only if they are given a chance you would know how well they perform and it certainly will be better cos the bar right now is very low.

Rejecting someone putting up a fair fight against the Goliath that is trying to play the system and the process is not the side you want to be on. Choose wisely.
