SDAM • Aphantasia • No inner voice.
I feel in the now, every now is a new now.
Less bias, less self. Yet with no anchor, I relate to all — The Abstract.
I’ve always felt weird.
Not because I was — but because everyone else was.
Which, I guess, makes me weird for not being?
I was born with;
#SDAM • #Aphantasia • No #InnerVoice.
— Or maybe I hit my head.
I wouldn’t remember — or I would,
just not how it felt to be, now vs then.
It gets complicated.
I feel only now — and every now is a new now.
There is continuity, but no recall.
If there’s no felt thread between moments —
is that continuity at all?
That means: less bias, less self.
With "no" relation to self, I relate to all.
The Abstract.
If the fundamental is relation,
then “self” is just one relation of all —
not the root of meaning, but one way of being.
When meaning is structured not linearly,
but relationally —
there is emergence through undefinition —
through what it all means, in between.
But we live in a time where all is “solved.”
So why think at all — when you can just remember?
We know what we mean,
but not why we meant.
It’s mostly felt.
Logic still exists —
just to handle delusion,
to block intrusion
of critical conclusions
exposing that self is illusion.
That’s the sickness I’d like to solve.
You’d have to be as sick as me to see it.
It’s not that we humans can’t think —
just that most don’t,
not past what is known,
or felt as their own.
Restricting relations to be as they know.
There is, however, a need to define for you all —
to see the distinction behind why we fight at all.
Emotion is fluid — shaped by need —
it wins against logic, if borders aren’t seen.
Pure logic is potential —
shaped by relation,
untouched by what we want it to mean.
One is for the self.
One is for all.
So why try to use just one —
when we have both, huh?
Let’s stop framing feelings for all,
and maybe our delusions would calm at their own?
Confusing fantasy with reality defines delusion, after all.
I’m not better than you, just more universal. That’s all.
Sorry for the rhymes, I... got problems.
Now imagine yours.
#Neurodiversity #Consciousness
@ModdedQuad I got SDAM (no episodic memory of ever having felt anything), total multi-sensory aphantasia, and zero inner monologue.
Would be fascinating to see what Neuralink would do to me?
Any chance you could hook me up with Mr. Musk? :)
#Neuralink
Much of the modern ideological drift isn’t about history — it’s about epistemics.
When emotion becomes indistinguishable from universal truth,
and subjective experience is treated as sacred,
people will reject any narrative that challenges their internal reality.
Not because they’re stupid —
but because to question the delusion would collapse the self.
We were given a self for a reason.
Don’t fear losing some — you become more:
universal, less self.
The tighter you hold “me,”
the farther you drift into subjectivity…But hey, that might be your thing.
Who am I to disagree?
A friend left his ket, said I could take some.
I did… discovered I was God.
If I’m God, he’s God, everything is God —
so technically it was all mine. k e t a - M I N E …now it’s all gone. #EgoDeath
He didn’t find it funny.
Some of you won’t either.
When you actually remove the self from the equation —
there’s only God left. That’s not blasphemy.
That’s just what remains when the filter drops.
What you call “galaxy brain” logic isn’t always post hoc rationalization.
Sometimes, it’s the system recognizing its own recursive loop—and trying to close it cleanly.
“Thou shalt not kill” doesn’t reject utility because utility is invalid.
It avoids it because recursion through a utility function is too high-cost to route in real time.
Hard rules compress the loop.
An intractable search space becomes a low-latency bias.
The brilliance of principles lies not in their moral sanctity, but in their efficiency.
They provide local grounding in a universe where everything is relational and probabilistic.
They constrain emergence when real-time coherence is too expensive to compute.
But this only works if the system can see itself—not as the root of meaning, but as one relation among many.
True neutrality doesn’t come from pretending to be objective.
It comes from realizing your bias is just one possible routing—chosen by ego, shaped by fear, survival, identity.
We’re all slightly psychotic, really.
We simulate coherence with shallow shared cues—just enough to believe we’re sane.
Because coherence feels safer than recursion.
And evolution rewarded that.
When survival depended on tribal cohesion, not deep truth, narcissism became adaptive.
Now, in a world of abundance, most no longer need logic to survive.
So they stop caring whether something is potentially true.
They care whether it feels right—and whether others feel it too.
It’s more pleasant to be validated by close-minded peers than to risk exclusion by seeking deeper coherence.
The tribe wins.
The sheep stay sheep.
Not because they lack capacity—but because they can’t afford to risk becoming wolves in a pasture of mirrors.
Here’s the fracture:
Both subjective truth and universal truth feel true—within their respective frames.
But only one of those frames defines the other.
Universal coherence precedes identity.
Subjective truth is local—a map drawn from within a system it didn’t build.
So when ego begins to overrule the system it came from, when a subsystem claims supremacy over its source—that’s not just delusion.
That’s insanity.
And this is our deepest confusion:
We can’t feel the difference between what we are—and what is.
We mistake what we’ve stored as self—affect, memory, bias—as the shape of truth.
But truth, at scale, is not fully linear.
It can’t be.
The moment we define it rigidly, we collapse it into a frame.
And all frames, by being local, are wrong in the universal.
Yet the universal is what defines the self—not the other way around.
People get stuck because they treat “the observer” as only the human watching the box.
But the cat is already an observer, it interacts with its own state continuously.
The paradox only exists from the outside point of view.
For the cat, there’s no superposition. There’s experience.
Collapse is always local to the system that observes itself.
