Delivering the keynote address at the launch of the Roadmap on "Building India as a Leading Bioeconomy Powerhouse by 2035," @DrJitendraSingh, Hon'ble Minister of State (Independent Charge), Ministry of Science & Technology, highlighted India's remarkable transformation into one of the world's fastest-growing bioeconomies.

He emphasized that with pioneering achievements in vaccines, genomics, gene therapies, biomanufacturing, and biotechnology innovation, India is not merely participating in the global biotechnology revolution but is helping shape it.

Stressing the importance of public-private partnerships, mission-driven innovation, and a robust startup ecosystem, he reaffirmed the Government's commitment to accelerating research, strengthening biomanufacturing, fostering entrepreneurship, and positioning India among the world's leading biotechnology powers.

The roadmap marks a significant step towards realizing the vision of a biotechnology-powered Viksit Bharat, driving economic growth, sustainable development, and global leadership in the emerging BioCentury.
