My Campaign for Hand Reconstructive Surgery – A Fight for Justice & Recovery.

My name is Tomori For over 10 years, I’ve lived with the lasting impact of a police gunshot injury that damaged my right hand. As a motion graphics designer, creative, and vocal advocate for justice and police accountability, this injury has restricted my ability to create, work, and live fully.

Despite pushing for accountability and damages, I’m now turning to the community to fund life-changing reconstructive surgery. Goal: ₦15,000,000. Your support helps one survivor reclaim their life and continue the work of demanding better systems.

Why this matters: Unresolved cases like mine highlight the need for real police reform and victim support in Nigeria. This isn’t just about me; it’s part of a larger call for justice.

A drunk cop opened fire at a checkpoint in 2011.

The bullet ripped through my car. Then through my right hand.

That night ended my career as an animator. It cracked my marriage. It left a wound in my mind that still hasn’t closed.

The twist? I sued the Nigeria Police. I won in 2015. The judge ordered them to pay my medical bills.

Ten years later: zero naira.
I live with permanent disability. No help. No justice. Yet, they are shouting “No To Impunity”
