Kenneth Chibuzor is a Nigerian national and one of the three men arrested for passing around and selling a Garmin smartwatch taken from Elizabeth "Tsontso" Moselakgomo after she went missing on 10 September.
According to police reports, Chibuzor is a second-hand shop owner in Kempton Park, who was the first person to put the smartwatch on the market. Chibuzor allegedly bought the phone from an unknown person/s for R900 just 24 hours after Tsontso went missing. The watch was then passed to Stephen Mahlakwane from Sekhukhune, who then sold it to Daniel Anthony Moat for R4000. It was Moat who is alleged to have eventually sold the smartwatch online on Facebook Marketplace.
The three were arrested in early October and charged with possession of stolen goods. Their first court appearance was on 12 October, where they sought bail. Both Sekhukhune and Moat were granted bail of R10 000 each, but Chibuzor remained in police custody, as his nationality was yet to be confirmed.

South African media houses are busy reporting the death of an illegal foreigner but fail to report that a South African warrant officer was killed by a Pakistani.
