@chels__ebooks I hate this and bookstores that shelve romance with general fiction. I want to know if a book is romance and the heat level, and except for authors sticking with MM it's so hard to tell. I rely on reviews unless it's an author I've read before, which is bad for new authors!

@sarahmaclean If you have a local fabric store or even Joann's, I took classes after my mom taught the basics. Every time I start a project now I talk to fabric store staff bc they can judge difficulty and give advice. YouTube is great, but there are some things where I need a coach.

@clairewillett Hennepin County (MPLS+burbs) elected Mary Moriarty, a progressive county prosecutor, and she is fantastic! There has been little criminal justice reform here in the past 2.5 years, so this + reelecting our progressive AG feels hopeful.

@GettingGophery @dbrauer GOP governance means worse services. They'll reduce state money esp to the cities, meaning either a hefty property tax hike or big cuts in city/county services. People see giant potholes and ever larger encampments and they tend to blame local govt no matter the root cause.
