Shorted hype was planning to close at 56 but closed early. I believe Hype is overpriced so I shorted bc although buybacks had 58m this month it was front loaded due to $SPCX, and ended the month far worse then it started. There is a gap between buybacks fees and price.

Hype ran to new high from narrative of SpaceX the actual metrics are far worse then last time Hype was at ath. Now that the IPO is over the next one is Anthorpic IPO not until earliest October there is no catalyst to push hype up.

Unlock on july 6th is approaching but historically unlocks push price up but it still releases tokens that etf can only suppress 150-200 mil a month and with only 20-40% of unlocks get sold out of 630 mil unlocked that leaves the floor defended but cannot support a new ceiling, in order for price to make a new ATH it need a marginal buyer based of a narrative which I don't think is coming.

Only think is a possible BTC rally that could make the short take longer then wanted. July is historically been green especially how it has reacted the past few days
we could see a small rally to high 60s which would push price temporarily to previous highs at 75-77.

I don't want to hold through a month of chop. I am still bearish hype and BTC in general but the timing was off which is why I closed for the time being

Federal authorities say a 35-year-old man allegedly FAKED an entire #NFL career as a #49ers player while helping scam at least 26 women out of more than $1.3 MILLION.

Daejon Labrayae Love allegedly met women through dating apps, convinced many they were in legitimate romantic relationships with him, and portrayed himself as either a wealthy NFL player or successful real estate investor.

Authorities say he built an elaborate fake lifestyle using:

• A fake career with the 49ers
• A fake NFL-themed Instagram presence
• Fabricated bank and investment balances
• Expensive cars and a lavish lifestyle
• Dating apps to meet victims
• Fake investment opportunities

His Instagram reportedly even included highlights such as “Free Agency,” “Year 1,” “Super Bowl” and an “NFL Journey.”

Prosecutors say 18-year-old Taylor Jamie Chan allegedly posed as Love’s financial adviser, with the two even conducting three-way FaceTime calls where victims were shown falsified investment gains.

Some women were allegedly encouraged to TAKE OUT PERSONAL LOANS after running out of money to invest.

Authorities say once victims started asking too many questions or had no more money to send, Love would allegedly block them and disappear.

Love and Chan were arrested together at Boise Airport on August 24 while authorities say Love was in Idaho looking to meet NEW potential victims.

The FBI says 26 victims have already been identified — and investigators believe there could be many more.

He allegedly created an entire NFL career and financial empire just to keep the scheme going.

Absolutely insane story.
