@BorpBarmstrong@p_feif80 Unlikely, this sort of pattern is very common in exactly mirrored and tiled images. AI tends to make more naturalistic patterns. This is probably a missing piece of data using mirrored tiles to fill it in or something
@Jakob_Wahlberg IMO theres no “deprecation” of makers of art. there will always be people willing to pay for art made by a human being. As for coding, some game devs may choose to use AI to code. I think if they understand it’s ok. Vibecoders won’t finish tho, it doesn’t make competent results
*impact system mb this one was a typo. LJImpacts is supposed to be an easy way to make reactions by surface according to things that happen in game. It handles pooling, surface detection, spawning particles, etc all for you
Audio test
Wanted to try excessively loud gunshots after watching the Odyssey
I think its decent it could work if adequately ducked by other sounds later as the game grows
First thing I want to get down is the game feel
Also testing out my input system LJImpacts

Getting out of gamedev rut after summer job.
Working on basic gameloop using my tool LJTags and LJImpacts
Sometimes I enjoy making the systems more than the games :)

@CloudlessStudio In my experience, I’ve made like thirty small games all over the internet, but I am not happy with them enough to charge and consider them my first game, perhaps others are like that where it’s a scope threshold to be the first game
@ML4guyAGAIN At most : (3x7x3) - (3x4) —> 51
At least: (3x3) + 8 + (6x3) —> 35
My reasoning is that if we assume only that small horizontal chunk is missing, we get 51
If we assume everything is missing except bottom floor, a few side parts, and the back wall, we get 35
@FrieNDA_2 Could be a decal or maybe a 2nd UV that’s box projected for an overlay in the shader (I’ve done that before to blend by a damaged building and regular building texture but it probably won’t work for any sort of modular parts unless it’s based on parent of hierarchy
hey yall, just made a small website for a new game, naturoll, let me know what you think!
https://t.co/Vao9LIdBKx
Gotta keep niche for now, temporary test, please dm me if you run into issues
Built this game to practice APIs, modern web stack, and some web crawling
I made this complete Stylized Nature bundle because I needed it myself. Its built to give your game a cohesive atmosphere right away
