@MarcoMasotti_ Great way to distract your supporters from your league position with all the talent at your disposal. What Sharks need is leadership and that starts from the very top...
This satellite image is of Russian naval base Olenya in the High North, along with their spy ship Yantar and specialist GUGI submarines before they departed port for UK waters.
These vessels are designed to survey underwater critical infrastructure during peacetime, then sabotage in conflict.
In response to nefarious activity by Russian GUGI submarines and an Akula Class submarine, the Defence Secretary @JohnHealey_MP deployed our Armed Forces to track and deter any malign activity by these vessels. We worked in partnership with Norway and other allies responding to increased Russian activity in the Atlantic, north of the UK.
A @RoyalNavy warship and @RoyalAirForce P-8 aircraft ensured the Russian submarines were monitored 24/7.
The Akula Submarine subsequently retreated home having been closely tracked throughout and we continued to monitor the two GUGI submarines, in and around wider UK waters.
Our Armed Forces left them with no doubt that they were being monitored, that their movements were not covert as Putin planned and that their attempted secret operations had been exposed.
Congratulations to the crew of Artemis II on travelling 248,655 miles from Earth - fair play, that’s almost as far away from the real world as The WRU. 😉😉😉
@pikedyer It may have carried some weight if after 2 years of development there was some sports science to share e.g. how much game time, conditioning, player pool size Wales and the Regions need to be elite/competative. Oh and the fact the shift from 4 to 3 didnt coincide with a £10m debt
All four Welsh regions were involved in huge battles this week with Ospreys beating Ulster, Cardiff beating Leinster and Dragons surging back to draw with Benetton. scarlets won a BP. i’m sure WRU hierarchy revelled in every game. if any were present. Not one word of appreciation i can find
@philsteele1 Pity the WRU Chairman didn’t see the improvement he’s on Skiing holiday so rumored 🙄 missed two home matches 🫢. Chair of WRU Professional Board in Twickenham 🙄 watching England v Ireland where are their priorities ?
@john_caddick@RhiRhiOnRugby@WelshRugbyUnion The exec just appointed a full time £160k rugby assistant to the board, yet our national coach had to use part time staff borrowed from regions. Plus reduced access to players as encouraged to play outside wales. Destroying the blueprint that gave us grand slams
@CardiffRugbyWeb But without knowing if the plan has been tried, what the blockers are then 3 feels like an easy option. So in a couple of years easy option is 2 and so on.
@CardiffRugbyWeb I am not advocating teaming up on playing side, but if you jointly market the commercial opportunities for TV rights, branding etc then its more attractive. However you need a strong team in place who can sell a vision not manage to a number
