The pattern matches documented pay-pig and advance-fee scams: conversation moves off X, then a “clearance,” “verification,” “tax,” or “authorization” fee appears, a fake payment screenshot is sent, or payment details are harvested. Money that does arrive is often stolen and later reversed.
