.... the afternoon consisted of a walking tour around the Jewish Quarters of Krakow, visiting a synagogue, a traditional Jewish cemetery and visiting the Ghetto memorial. We finished the tour with a cheerful meal at a traditional Jewish restaurant, topped with lively music!

Day 3 in #Krakow - this morning we visited the salt mines! This involved a lot of steps and resisting the urge to lick the walls... some “caved” in! We all brought some salty gifts and souvenirs from the shops too...

Day 2 in #Krakow! We had a very early start to go and visit Auschwitz and Berkenhau concentration camps, a very emotional visit! Our next stop was Krakow Old Town where we shopped and posed for some touristy photos 📷 Next stop: a traditional Polish dinner! 🇵🇱

Day 1 of #krakow done! We have had a really interesting guided tour around Schindler’s factory and enjoyed a lovely (chilly!) walk back to the hotel, where we enjoyed a 3 course meal! Now an early night in preparation for Auschwitz early tomorrow morning! 😴

And we are off! Coach has now departed Longdean, en route to the airport! #Krakow 🇵🇱 ✈️

Who is excited for the Krakow trip in the morning? We certinately are! Make sure you arrive at 5:35am at the school gates (coach leaves at 5:50am) and DON’T FORGET YOUR PASSPORTS! 🙈🙈 🇵🇱 ✈️
