FF Bates talked students aged 11 -18 year's old, discussing her job role and hopefully inspiring some of them to consider a career as a FF. 🧑🏻‍🚒👩🏻‍🚒🚒😁

Today on-call FF Majer joined White Watch for an RTC training session.
The team worked to free two casualties.
The driver had his legs entrapped and the passager had their arm impinged between the seat and b post as well as a faulty seat mechanism.👩‍🚒👩🏼‍🚒🚒

Found running from the fire this lizard was rescued by firefighters! This was his habitat - his home! Moorlands & countryside are home to all sorts of precious animals &flowers & yet we continue to see it destroyed by the irresponsible & careless use of portable BBQs #packapicnic

Another testing day for @DerbyshireFRS Attended yet another large woodland fire, OIC had sound tactical plan in place so I ended up on the beater. Most likely cause of fire? Unattended camp fire. Come on people, it’s your environment too. Be sensible and look after it please 🚒🚒

0905 - @FireLongEaton & @longeatonfire attended a report of a gas leak in the grounds of a domestic property on Phyllis Grove #LongEaton. Crews cordoned off the area and remained on scene awaiting arrival of engineers from the Gas Board. 🚒
