In this photo the Storrs House (697) has a different look in addition to the location vs. today. No front porch or south side "bump out". When the Storrs House was moved to make room for the Storrs Library, these features rear "el" section were removed.

This photo courtesy of @LongmeadowHS has a description "Longmeadow Street north from Mrs. Bacon". Harriet B Bacon- widow of William- spent summers at 705 #Longmeadow St. from 1908-1912. North is 697, the Storrs family home. That home was moved back when the library was built. #MA
