Creating a (good) PFP collection takes a tonne of work, usually by a tonne of people.

The Denizens of ZenAcademy has been a collaborative effort by some of the smartest and most hardworking people I have had the pleasure to work alongside in my life.

I want to thank them all. Starting with..

1/ @PonderingDraw our INCREDIBLE lead illustrator and artist. This collection has Pondering written all over it, and I highly highly highly recommend people check out his other artworks to get a glimpse into his talent. Thank you, Pondering.

2/ @PixlitEth our multi-talented creative director without whom this project would not look anywhere near as good as it does. Pixlit took Pondering's work and sharpened it, honed it, directed it, and worked with myself and the rest of the team to develop the traits and distribution of rarities to create a cohesive collection that looks great. Thank you, Pixlit.

3/ Francine & Carlo, two additional artists, who assisted both Pixlit and Pondering. They don't have Twitter accounts, but their contributions also helped get us over the finish line -- thank you to both of you.

4/ @MrKen47854857, Pondering's brother, who helped bridge the gap between English and Thai, and allowed us all to communicate often complex topics and thoughts to one another. Thank you so much.

5/ @mai_on_chain, @adityakaushik38, and the whole @heymintxyz team. THANK YOU for providing the minting platform, the website development help, the design help, and generally helping get our project from PFPs to NFTs-on-the-blockchain. 7/ @NeerMcD and @omribouton, our two incredible IP lawyers who helped get our T&Cs in order, trademarks filed, and everything-else buttoned up to ensure things were rock solid for us as a company, and our holders and community. Jessica and Omri are not just incredible lawyers, THEY'RE GREAT HUMANS TOO (yes lawyers can be great people, they're proof!) - thank you thank you thank you 🙏

8/ @MushrooooomNFT our fearless Head of Ops and Project Manager for the entire Denizens project. We literally could not not have done this without you. I could not have done this without you. From organizing every single person listed above, to working with every single person written below, and making sure we hit deadlines, triple-tested everything, and launched without a hitch.. thank you. Truly, you worked harder than anyone to bring our this collection to life.

9/ @emileevee our lore-writer, world-creator, and marketing-witch. Thank you for bringing so much creativity to the Denizens, from the mint experience, to all the wonderful trait names, and ideas, and Zenturian bios. Our PFPs would be 100% less interesting and exciting if not for you, you took everything technical and made it beautiful and magical. Thank you.

10/ The rest of the Z-team, old and new, who contributed along the way. They offer so much support, and speaking for me only, I could not have done this without who not only went through the collection with a fine tooth comb, but was and is always my biggest supporter and best friend. 12/ Last but certainly not least - and in fact, most - our incredible community. The support throughout the entire process was nothing short of remarkable -- from the unending patience when we had to delay our mint/reveal, to offering valuable feedback the week prior to mint after seeing sneak-peeks, our community is what makes us strong, and special.

The community is now 2+ years old and has been getting stronger day by day. The amount of people that call ZenAcademy home, and that contribute and add value, never ceases to amaze me. The caliber of humans we have is our greatest strength -- good people, wanting to help others, to learn, and to build together. From our mighty brand ambassadors to our newest members, thank you. Thank you one and all.

I might still be forgetting some people, there were so many friends and well wishers along the way, I appreciate you all as well, and apologies if there has been an oversight - it's been a long week 🥲

It really does take a village.

It might seem like it's easy to launch a PFP project, and if you want to do a low-effort cash grab with fiverrr art.. it kinda is. If you want to do something that you consider will live on forever, and want to attach your brand and reputation to, and, importantly, care about your brand and reputation as I do... it takes an immense amount of work.

It has been worth every bit of it, though. Watching our community enjoy and appreciate their Denizens coming through. Seeing people change their PFPs on Twitter to a Denizen. And knowing that this is just the beginning.

I am now on a mission to champion our community and grow the Denizens day by day. I appreciate everyone that has chosen to rep ZenAcademy with a Denizen PFP -- we are relatively small in numbers now, but we will increase, day by day, until we are a mighty force to be reckoned with.

Quality > quantity, and slow and steady wins the race.
