@Majin_Zeta@Todorok_i15@OP_senju Two counter points
One: He swung a giant club that was the size of a person around and held his own against Elsa. (Even if he was on the losing side)
Two: He Beat up a group of thugs in episode 1 in just a few seconds. He also dented concrete by kicking one of them into a wall.
I will never forget Technoblade for as long as I live.
It’s so funny, I still remember finding his bedwars streams and thinking
“this guy is just like me”
The day we lost him I genuinely felt a part of me was also lost. #technobladeneverdies
I believe the question was who wins in a fight, not if he could just destroy the planet.
I also don't believe he could destroy a planet in the slightest. It took Three viltrumites and the Lazer from a gun that can shoot through anything.
If he was that powerful then why did he struggle with Battle Beast? Why didn't he just blow up the planet Battle Beast was on?
If you want my honest opinion I think the battle would just never end. You’ve got Maho who always adapts and Reinheart who always gets a new ability.
That was my original thought at this battle idea. Personally, I side with Reinheart winning. Not because Maho is weak or is adapting isn’t enough, but because Reinheart doesn’t have a foreseeable limit to what he can do.
Like an unrelated side note. In the Isekai Quartet show that has all the main characters from different anime even people like Ainz complain about how OP he is. Which I just think is funny.
Reinhearts sword is said to be so powerful that a single swing from it has the power to rewrite reality itself.
The Dragon Sword Reid also has the power to cut through abstract concepts such as Mahoraga’s adaptation. In other words, Reinheart isn’t cutting Mahoraga, just literally cutting through the adaptation itself.
Plus Reinheart gains new powers specifically to deal with whoever his opponent is. So even if he didn’t have the ability or knowledge to one shot Mahoraga. He’d gain an ability that would give him that knowledge, and then an ability created just to one shot Mahoraga or adaptation abilities itself.
Never once did I say that the author of ReZero gets to decide that. I stated my opinion, “that it would take crazier hax to beat him”. I don’t believe that’s an unreasonable claim given the position you and I are in considering you nor I are authorities on the subject. But when we strip away the minutiae, and look objectively at what Hax really means, it quite literally translates too a busted character or ability. And Reainheart has over 100 and if he wants more he can pray for them and get it instantly. This world is also an Isekai, so you know that the powers are broken like any other main character. The difference is ReZero is trying to make him literally unbeatable, not balanced like other authors do for their characters. Let’s use your Shield and Spear analogy as a frame of reference. The Spear will never reach Reinheart because he essentially has immunity to being hit. And if he was he has 80-90% immunity to every type of damage there is. I could list a bunch of his hax abilities but I’m not going to subject you to that. (Apologies for the long read)
@gosc101@ShinobiVaultHQ Thankfully that’s for the author to decide lol. All I know for a fact is that he’s a broken character and it would 100% take even crazier hax to beat him.
@notallgaming@ShinobiVaultHQ She is not a literal God, her powers were still given to her by the exact same logic that applies to Reinheart. She has abilities and classes so she can only do what she unlocks. I just read over all of her abilities and Reinheart is quite literally not affected by any of them.
