@avidreadr2 Thank you. My parents didn't deal with their parents because they weren't the kids that stuck around.
I took my dad in almost 10 years ago when he didn't have anywhere else to go after my parents got divorced.
And it's so hard.
And I have teenagers.
And I'm a single mom.
Thanks
My elderly father is back home.
Apparently him running away from home "because I treat him like a child" got him in APS for a week.
Now he's back and refuses to talk to me.
But he's an adult.
Today I read in a book...
"Stay close to me," he said. "I don't want anyone to see you with me."
And I'm just 🤔🤔🤔.
Like, excuse me?
Those two sentences make zero sense together.
My elderly father update. He woke up at six am and walked to the fire house. At 7:20 I woke up and he was gone. At eight am the ambulance took him to Searcy.
Noon was the last time anyone will confirm hearing anything from him.
I called the police department and tried to file a Silver Alert for a missing old person. But they won't do it because he was last seen at noon today at the hospital in Searcy.
I love these advertisements for loans.
"Need to borrow money to get those concert tickets?"
No, dumbass. I need to borrow money for bread.
So I'll have gas to go to work tomorrow.
So my water stays on another week.
Who's borrowing money to buy tickets?
Driving with my 16 year old today.
A police officer passed me and I went 'whoop whoop'.
My kiddo immediately said 'that's the sound of the police'.
