@ESL_fairy @fordnation So does that mean that it won't go toward this school year's budget? We usually have to have the ordering done and in by around May/early June for it to come from the current year's budget. What a frickin nightmare for what appears to be no good reason.

@MsKrispanis I don't want my child OR my students having additional screen time. The evidence already shows so many secondary students opting out of online classes. Research shows how bad screen time is for kids so please help me understand this.

The govt's Core Education Funding announcement is a thinly veiled attempt to hide cuts that will hurt #OntEd students.
#CatholicTeachers call on the govt to stop the cuts and work with teachers, parents, and communities to make real investments in our schools.

This is a huge problem because Canada’s radars still need significant improvements to help forecasters issue more accurate tornado warnings, and without the radar research team, those improvements may never happen.

@MattL2016443324 @sturgeon_sue @fordnation Many of us do, in fact, use our salary for items in our classrooms. We also purchase coats, boots, shoes, snow pants, backpacks, etc. for students whose families can't afford them. You'd be surprised how many educators would rather buy these items than see a child go without.
@houndogharrison @fordnation Nothing wrong with being smart...especially when owning and learning from an error. Many of our leaders could learn a thing or two from your example. Just sayin.
@normie_44 @houndogharrison It may not be too late to delete but it takes some integrity to own your mistake openly instead of deleting and pretending it never happened. Gotta respect that, in my opinion.
