The boar that killed Robert was enigmatic of his own patriarchal, drunken, boisterous, presence. Ironically it (himself) kills him. #Rhaenyra kills the boar, and survives, setting her aside from Robert. She is thus also killing and fending off the patriarchal society. #HOTD

...while it's clear that she is the heir, she doesn't need to prove this and lets the white hart go. Instead she returns with the slaughtered boar to show the entire hunting party, which brings this whole thread full circle. #HOTD

I believe this could be foreshadowing how the prophecy will affect Rhae.
The harts are also metaphors for governing. Viserys feels frustrated, and reluctant about it, with everyone's eyes on him, and its messy. Meanwhile no one's eyes are on Rhae...
I'm curious to know others thoughts on the prophecy. My personal opinion is that it will not survive RR, because clearly Daenerys or Viserys (golden crown) did not know. I'm thinking it died with the Mad King or Rhaegar.
Even getting down to Viserys I is somewhat convoluted.
Others have shared with me that it was exhausting and could have used humor to break tension. I did not feel this way, but this could have just been my engrossment with the material
I'm wondering if Mushroom will come in?

The Good:
Cast did a tremendous job!
Source material and attention to detail are clearly important to the production.
Politics and intrigue are BACK, GRRM's influence can be felt.
Ramin's music is always fantastic.
Final: 9/10
A carefully crafted start to a series that looks to be a return-to-form to GRRM's brutal world. The pilot excels when it focuses on its characters and is only weighed down by its attempts to connect to the original series. Looking forward to what comes next.
