If you were to believe the propagandistic nonsense being peddled by the BC NDP you'd think a pipeline is about to be built, the housing crisis is over, property rights are secure and the economy is on the mend. None of that is true
The tanker ban remains firmly in place, the crony developer bailout continues unabated, DRIPA remains unresolved & British Columbia has been humiliated by five consecutive credit downgrades
The BC NDP has been an abject failure by every measure and is now relying almost entirely on political spin, aided by a compliant establishment. They're trying to pull the wool over the eyes of working British Columbians who are struggling, hoping the federal government can somehow come to their rescue and erase nearly a decade of provincial failure
But British Columbians are too smart to buy the lie. The chasm between the NDP's fabricated fantasy and the grim reality on the ground is simply too wide to bridge. This province has sunk too far into David Eby's managed decline of living standards, public safety and accountability to be fooled. Their daily experience with these hardships rebukes the political showmanship that's shamefully on display
@JCCFCanada Geeze, sentence like that for civil disobedience is over the top.
Life would be better in Canada if criminals were given sentences like that for robbery, violent crime or drug dealing.
Liberals are clearly not right in the head.
Tamara Lich’s sentence ends in January 2027, but the Crown is forcing the entire case back to the Court of Appeal — still demanding 7 years in prison for Lich and 8 years for Chris Barber.
The Justice Centre has funded lawyers to defend Mr. Barber since 2022.
Ontario taxpayers have already spent roughly $15 million on this prolonged prosecution.
This is what political lawfare looks like.
Australia's under-16 social media ban has generated enough data to assess it and the results are consistent across studies: it hasn't worked. Yet Canada not only wants to copy it in Bill C-34, but it plans to drop the age verification privacy analysis.

I grew up in the Canada of the 80s, 90s, and 00s.
It was an amazing place to live and work.
The Canada of right now is unsafe, unaffordable, and unrecognizable.
And it’s patriotic to point that out. 🇨🇦
Free healthcare isn’t a thing in Canada, unless you’re one of the millions of immigrant invaders now clogging up the system, while taxpaying Canadians foot the bill.
Paying for other people’s healthcare is one of the most expensive bills a Canadian taxpayer will receive.
💯 guy gets attacked from behind twice stands up police grab him he swings thinking it’s the attacker then He backs down once he seen it was police who didn’t identify themselves when jumping in they targeted him after he was assaulted ignoring witnesses then calling the victim a dick then trying to force him in the back of a car the wrong way then force him out again what an abuse of power I hope he gets a nice claim
Capitalism: No one takes your property by force.
Socialism: The state takes most of your wealth by force.
Communism: The state takes all of your assets by force.
Canada doesn't even have free trade between its provinces. Politicians are not capable of implementing free trade with our closest neighbour. They want to control everything. And in doing so they make things significantly more expensive for Canadians
HOLY SHYT…
🚨 The Canadian Federal Government decided to FLUSH OUT their local talent and just announced New EXPRESSED ENTRY for immigrant categories of "skilled military recruits" into the Canadian Armed Forces
You read that right… the want foreign nationals (Chinese soldiers) to join their ranks.
The Minister Lena Diab who announced it states — “This will help defend our sovereignty and keep Canadians safe."
It’s about to get a lot easier to use the Canadian military against Canadian citizens, when the soldiers aren't even Canadian.
This is a threat to the National Security of the United States.

Ottawa Police Chief sent an internal video warning officers to stop running women's license plates after seeing them at a coffee shop or at the gym, because an officer was using police databases like a dating app.
This demonstrates once again why handing governments and corporations more power over our personal data is so dangerous. Bills like C-22 and C-34 expand state oversight of our online lives. Once that data exists, it’s only a matter of time before it ends up being misused.
