@2_Old_4_Gaming I'm bummrf about the loss of physical games, but I always felt it was inevitable that the next console generation would end them. I plan to buy few digital games at full price and concentratebon my excessive backlog. And to buy everything physical while I still can!
@2_Old_4_Gaming@GamingBlockInc I appreciate the sentiment but the hard fact is Sony won't care. The segment of the market they are upsetting is small, but vocal. If that entire segment drops Plus, it'll be offset by increased digital revenue and savings on manufacturing and distribution. They did the math.
@2_Old_4_Gaming (3) I can absolutely see a future where, for example, Wolverine 2 launches in 2030 and LRG buys the rights to burn 100K discs for PS6. These physical versions start at $150 each and won't arrive until 6 - 12 months post-digital launch.
@2_Old_4_Gaming (2) There also may still end up being select PS6 physical titles. Not sold by Sony, but by 3rd parties like LRG who can purchase licenses to do their own pressings and charge premium rates for physical versions of select games to the niche market that wants t and will pay.
@2_Old_4_Gaming (1) It's easy money and good publicity to at least give physical gamers an option to continue to play their old discs. They can sell the add-on at a significant profit, while still forcing gamers to go digital on all PS6 titles.
@DefiyantlyFree Tucker Carlson is a foreign agent seeking to turn as many American patriots against their own self-interests as well as America's self-interests as possible. We should give him as little attention and platform as possible. Let's not amplify his vitriol and anti-American content.
@2_Old_4_Gaming And adjusted for inflation, the price of the launch 60GB PS3 is still less than the current cost of the PS5 Pro! $599.99 in 2006 USD is $997.37 today as per https://t.co/JSFKf78H5Z
@JamesSt450@all_4sally Sally was a very versatile character who could excel in many situations. As time went on, she became less interestimg because Archie kept introducing too many characters, dilluting her. It's not wrong to enjoy these 90s pop culture parody versions of her. SatAM is best though!
@2_Old_4_Gaming@ErikInCt_ The game is on disc on PS5, but only the standard version and the Collector's version. The Collector's version is already sold out however.
@ScouterVee How was Kratos replaced? His story remains ongoing, he hasn't been killed off or sidelined so a woman can take over. The Greek trilogy remakes and the next Kratos game are still coming. The Faye game runs concurrently to 2018. The franchise has not been handed over to Faye.
@BlazeBinges My favorite memories are from when I discovered it back in its first run syndication September 1995 - September 1996. Finding that Toonami bringing it back into homes in 1998 and then premiering "The Lost Episodes" in November 1998 is my favorite Toonami memory of all time.
