@YoDanno i miss when vampires and wights could drain levels. monsters arent scary enough in 5e/5.5e. its a lot more user friendly and casual fun, but nothing is really scary anymore. fear can be fun if done right

so, its been a few weeks since my dog, my best buddy, died. the depression has gotten worse. i feel like what ever magic was in me is fighting for dear life to stay aflame and its just sparking and sputtering. nothings helping. this sucks

@muheediva01 a new mattress. most of my mattresses growing up we got from behind motels and bleached the fuck out of them.
hell, shoes that weren't too big or too small, but actually fit right and weren't pre-owned.

@thisisnefertiti as a kid in the late 80s and early 90s i always heard the older kids and younger adults mentioning it and seeing women be absolutely giddy when they had a skirt or dress with hand sized pockets. its a pretty vivid memory. so its really gen x is to blame for making it a big deal.

@hwinkler4real generally, yeah, the elderly and pregnant women, anyone using a cane, crutches, or a walker, anyone who looks like they've had a bad day, anyone who looks exhausted. hell, if you ask nicely im likely to give my seat. as long as youre not being a jerk.

thats not bad if its per episode. if its your only source of income though, in new york, at that time, youve probably got 2 or more roommates in a small, cheap apartment with communal bathrooms, and are eating a lot of ramen.
