I’m not THAT old, but I’m trending that direction. To my friends in a new season— You’ve achieved & seen a lot, but atrophy & settling are not options. “Now that I’m old…let me proclaim your power to this new generation.” You’ve learned a lot, leverage it! (Ps71:18)
It’s a pretty surreal feeling to have your first book show up on your doorstep and like all good things, it happens in the collective efforts & talents of many. Writing a book was never an aspiration of mine and an insecure step of obedience, but I learned so much in the process
Just returned form Africa and one thing is 💯% true! God is doing SO much more in the world than the summation of all the religious and denominational tweets filling my newsfeed.

Crossing cultures isn’t just a gateway to meeting new people, it’s an opening that expands your view of the world and enlarges your heart for people who are different than you, but God loves the same as you. And the food is good too!!!! New Afghan friends = yummy Afghan food!
