You might not be able to see it, but the profile photo captions states FIght the mental burqa. I believe in the power of women and change we can create.
@itscarterhughes It should include Presidents not taking bribes or expensive gifts from foreign countries. Trump could sell the jet from Quatar and pay it towards the national deficit (and stop costing so much money that he doesn't need to spend on golf, historic white house demo and build, etc
This one, Lawler, went on Bloomberg acting outraged and never once mentioned the main sticking point the Democrats who don't have majority are pointing out - Americans will die and go bankrupt over sudden massive increase in premiums because of Republican negligence to renew.
This is how hard GOP lawmakers (even in the South where people will get severely impacted) want to ignore a sharp increase to marketplace Healthcare premiums that will cost many as much as their rent payment each month. /1 of 4
The American people deserve honesty, consistency, and above all a government that works for them — not one that lurches from crisis to crisis because each party believes the rules only apply when it’s politically convenient.
/3 of 4 Some others obviously, including Tuberville who commented with a clear ignorance that sounded like reckless endangerment, don't even know what SNAP does and think it's welfare for young men?!
Americans voted Democratic lawmakers into their seats also. People not buying insurance won't get medical care and medical infrastructure will be less where is needed. /2 of 4
@lawler4ny Shame on you for angering irate on Bloomberg on the face of US anger with the Republican Party's lack of time working in Congress and refusal to ensure Americans don't see an increase equal to rent prices per month in their health ins premiums because the GOP doesn't care.
Pro-Russia and pro-palestine hacktivists group continue to team up and continue to claim attacks on operational technology systems.
This time, Intied and Cyber Islamic resistance-axis have claimed to manipulate a SCADA system in Israel.
@jurgen_nauditt Their also using RU teenagers who are held like prisoners and harshly penalized if they don't meet panicked quotas. Another illustration that RU makes civilians military targets. They're a terrorist state.
❗️Russia was preparing terrorist attacks in Europe using drones and corn cans filled with explosives.
In Lithuania, a cache of explosives was discovered in a cemetery, while in Poland authorities detained a suspected Russian intelligence operative carrying explosive-filled cans, drone components, and SIM cards.
The planned targets included Poland, Lithuania, and Germany.
For the first time since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine began, the United States will provide the Ukrainian Armed Forces with intelligence for long-range missile strikes against energy infrastructure inside of Russia, senior officials have told the Wall Street Journal.
An order instructing both the Pentagon and intelligence agencies to aid Ukraine with strikes against targets within Russian territory was recently signed by President Donald J. Trump, with U.S. officials asking NATO Allies to provide similar support to Kyiv.
In addition, the U.S. is also weighing the delivery of Tomahawk and Barracuda Cruise Missiles, as well as other American-made ground and air-launched missiles that have ranges of around 500 miles to Ukraine, allowing them to potential strike targets in Russia that are as deep as Moscow.
@stengel You sound as silly at Pete Hegseth. Ever gone in one is the hikes with mobile drone units in Ukraine to reach locations for their operation? Apparently not, and if you can't figure out what the public can, what are you doing talking about it?
@shashj Russia has built spy watchover locations disguised as ROC next to strategic locations throughout Europe. They're overlooking military bases and other strategic objects, many of them in violation of local ordinances and construction height restrictions. Great for spying.
@Kasparov63 To a country heck deep in slavery, human rights atrocities, and the support and protection of terrorist groups including Hamas. Interesting doing that while claiming to support Israel against Hamas which has suppressed, brutalized, and radicalized people to hate.
If Ukraine and NATO want American military protection, they need to give Trump an airplane or two and put billions into his family’s crypto scam. As always, nationalize the expenses and privatize the profits.
$200 Billion in frozen Russian cash might finally be sent to Ukraine - @WSJ
The EU is preparing a new creative plan to loan the money as a “reparations loan” to Ukraine, and Kyiv will only be responsible to repay the loan when Moscow pays war reparations
Of course, the EU knows the Russians will never pay reparations...
However, this would legally allow the EU to hand the money to Ukraine, and at least provide the Russians a pathway to recovering this frozen money
To recover it, the Russians would have to repay Ukraine for the damages they've caused, thereby acknowledging their responsibility for the war, so of course they will never do that
The latest UN report mentions the "Dr. Evil" case uncovered by Schemes, an investigative project of Radio Liberty, about a Russian prison doctor who tortured Ukrainian prisoners of war in Mordovia, Russia.
The vast majority of Ukrainian prisoners of war report being tortured, starved and badly treated in Russian captivity. Since Russia rarely allows international organizations access inside its prisons, these cases are not documented.
According to the report by UN Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the Russian Federation Mariana Katzarova, between February 2023 and April 2025, in Penal Colony No. 10, a high-security facility in Mordovia, Russia, many of the 700 Ukrainian prisoners of war and civilian detainees were systematically tortured - often by medical personnel. A paramedic known as Doctor "Zlo" (Doctor Evil), identified as Ilya Sorokin, humiliated and tortured Ukrainian prisoners of war and denied them medical care, which probably has led to the deaths of several Ukrainians.
The rapporteur noted that Ilya Sorokin "routinely beat detainees with rubber batons and electrocuted them with stun guns."
The report also mentions a Ukrainian prisoner who died in Colony No. 10 - Volodymyr Yukhymenko, who had been captured in the spring of 2022. In June 2023, he was transferred to Mordovia, where his condition sharply deteriorated. When his cellmates requested medical assistance, Sorokin ignored the pleas and instead encouraged guards to beat the ill man even more. Russia officially recorded his death on September 1, 2023. A Ukrainian forensic examination found that he had pneumonia, internal bleeding and multiple fractures.
"One of the hardest to document but most recent findings in this report is that Russian doctors and medical staff directly participated in or were complicit in the torture of Ukrainian prisoners," Katzarova said while presenting the report at the UN.
