I remember when Pat Cummins won the World Cup, he casually walked out of the Airport with the trophy, with barely any crowd outside waiting. Aussies won so much that it became routine. Diminishing marginal utility.

I think the Open Bus parade this year won’t attract the crowd like it did the last time. Our T20 team will become so strong that a WC will be inevitable. Great times to be in.

A message I got in my DMs tonight. Read it twice.

“I’m an American citizen. My parents came here decades ago, worked honest jobs, paid every tax, stood in every line, and became citizens the right way.

They never cut corners, never overstayed a visa, never asked for handouts. They just believed in the promise that if you work hard, America welcomes you.

That’s why this new wave of hostility feels like such a betrayal. They did it the right way, and still have to think twice before stepping out.

They have an Indian accent.
They don’t post political stuff online.
They go to Costco, grab a coffee at Starbucks, fill gas, and come home , like everyone else.

But now… they pause. My mom hesitates before stepping out alone. My dad checks over his shoulder at the gas station.
That’s what anti-Indian hate has done , it’s made American citizens feel unsafe in their own country.

They didn’t ‘take’ anything from anyone. They just lived, worked, and believed in the same dream that built this nation.

Why this hostility? Why this quiet permission to treat people who look like us as outsiders?

Hate has a way of spreading beyond its target. Today it’s Indian immigrants. Tomorrow, it’s someone else’s parents. Someone else’s home. Someone else’s dream.”

This isn’t a partisan issue.
It’s a moral one.

And it’s time America looks in the mirror and asks: When did fear become more American than decency?
