Things we discussed in LF last week:
1. GELATO PICCANTE store closes & moves into production, how are you gonna style it?
2. Salty movie snacks win over sweet. Challenge me
3. PLACES TO TRY: Bouche Paris. Been there?
4. Mixologist to watch: what should Robert Pattinson mix next?
5. Who wants to receive a letter from Los Fomos?

Aristide Bruant (1851-1925) was a comedian and singer who ran his own cabaret in Montmartre. He famously insulted every person who walked in. I should try insulting our Midnight in @LosFomos guests too?
Toulouse-Lautrec painted him in a black cape and red scarf - chances are you've walked past the poster without knowing who it was.
Coincidentally, when I tried to find our ideal filming location last year and went to more than 15 venues around Paris, one of them was called "Hôtel Monsieur Aristide".
A few impressions of the hotel lobby below!
watch our chat with cabaret director willy in the bio!
what most people don't know: i actually asked hotel amour to film Midnight in @LosFomos at their downstairs bar, but it was completely out of our price range. I'm glad it didn't work out - despite Hotel Amour being much closer to my home where tako and I stayed during filming - because Boubale bar turned out to be the best spot for us!
We just released our Midnight in @LosFomos episode with Willy from Effrontés cabaret. Willy is a die-hard fan of Crazy Horse, one of the best cabarets in Paris (dare I say the world), but something was missing for him: crazy horse has female performers only. So he built Effrontés, a space for gender fluid sensuality and movement. Go watch on YT 🌶️
