EU rejects US threat to ban diesel exports over European fuel reserves —— The European Union today "fully rejected" a US threat to ban diesel exports if European countries do not release more of their fuel reserves, European Commission spokesperson Anna-Kaisa Itkonen said. "A ban would not be beneficial to anyone. It would undermine our trust in the United States as a reliable partner," Itkonen said, according to Reuters.
