I cringed while watching this video. Nigerian men are enabling rubbish.
This woman got "separated" from her husband, she left her matrimonial home and went to her village for a while. On returning back to the city, she shamelessly went back to her husband's house, the same husband whom she has allegedly gotten separated from. She went back, not because there was a mutual reconciliation but rather because she can't afford to rent and furnish a space of her own as she would like it to be. She went back to that same man's house and even had the audacity to be setting rules and marking boundaries. Nigerian men, who bewitched you?
Obviously, she had zero input in the house she has been living in with her husband. She definitely doesn't even have an idea of how much her husband is paying as house rent, else she won't be surprised at the prices housing agents were giving her. The husband rented the house and furnished it. The only thing the woman probably did was to move into the house with her few clothes as at the time they got "married", otherwise she wouldn't have said anything about the need for her to buy bed, mattress, gas cooker, washing machine, fan etc.
In my understanding of her narrative, one thing is certain; the woman has already left the man in her mind. She only went back to his house to be sharing space with him for the time being, pending the time she would be buoyant enough to leave. As soon as she is able to afford the lifestyle she wants or when she sees another man who is able and ready to fund it for her, she will definitely leave the man for good. I just hope the man won't come back to cry on the podcast.
Dear men, women don't just walk away from a marriage overnight. They would have mentally switched off at least a year or more before physically walking away from that marriage. When your woman says she is leaving, please let her go with alacrity. The worst mistake of your life you can make is to be begging her to stay. If she leaves, never make the mistake of allowing her to come back into the house. Begging a woman to stay or allowing her to come back into the house after she has left is more or less like you postponing your teary days. If you fail to learn now, you will learn in a very hard way much later. One thing is sure — dodoyo go dance gbedu and tungba. 😁

“Is that how I will get married? This was my girlfriend. I had already made my intention known to her that I would marry her. I bought her an iPhone 8 last year, but just because I posted her picture online, some men went after her and bought her an iPhone 17 Pro Max. Now she no longer talks to me. Recently, I invited her to see her, and she charged me ₦100,000.”

This is what is happening in Abia States, according to Victor Olamide, a Yorùbá man, who lives in the suburbs of Aba.
This does not sound like "half development" to me, as recently alleged by a popular content creator.
If @followlasg could deliver this kind of "half-development", combined with the road construction and repair works of @alexottiofr, I think many Lagosians would be very happy indeed.

My husband lost his dad last year March and he traveled for the burial, before then our Pastor has told us he dreamt that a child fell into the well.
And within that period, we were digging two wells, one in the church and one in our house both unfinished.
Fast forward to when my husband traveled to bury his dad, one a Sunday evening, after church, I was inside with my little baby, and my three older sons were outside playing.
Suddenly, my second son ran in and said he can't find his younger brother, I stood up and ask him to soro soke.
He said he was riding their bicycle, he turn and didn't see his immediate younger brother again. I jumped up and my mind went straight to the well.
I got there and found my son at the bottom of the well filled with water to his neck, I could only see his head, he said mummy I am sinking, my heart skipped, my husband wasn't home, how do I explain that he went to bury his dad only to return to a dead son.
I called my two eldest sons to get me the ladder in the house, that day, if I was going to die,
I was ready to lay my life down for my boy.
I took the ladder with how heavy it was, I held it in-between the well, and told him to climb, where that strength came from till today I don't know.
I held the ladder and he climbed, that was how I brought him out, if you see how I was shaken that day, ha God 😢.
