@flowstatecoop has been building out next-gen tools for public goods funding

@GravenPrest invented Streaming Quadratic Funding (SQF) and launched a first pilot in Q1 with funds from @thegeoweb's Harberger Taxes and help from @gitcoin

The beauty of SQF is that it represents ongoing streaming donations. Rather than a round every quarter, the funding just keeps flowing to the recipients, allowing them a more predictable income to organise their activities.

The flowstate team grew with @garysheng joining in, and in Q4 Flow State launched a new iteration in partnership with @OctantApp (legends 🤩). This was supposed to last a mere 69 days, but was extended twice, most recently with a new ETH donation from @PublicNouns.

Funding the 13 projects in the Octant Accelerator ( @webhash_eth, @LottoPGF, Farcastle, @ModularCrypto, @getbcard, @together_crew, @karmahq_, @StudyDragonsNFT, @metricsgarden, @x23_ai, @summitshare_zm, @bitskwela, @BitsaveProtocol), the program has already attracted over 80 donors, who have collectively opened 160 streams

OttoDAO Juicebox Campaign update:

ETH redemptions are now enabled on https://t.co/zEVaz20yn0.

Unfortunately, the campaign didn’t get to the target the builders in OttoDAO felt comfortable with for the long term. For that reason, any ETH contribution made to the Juicebox campaign can now be claimed back, and the $OTTO token will NOT be minted.

You will find the instructions to redeem below, but before that we wanted to deeply thank each of the 160 people who contributed to our campaign, and each of the 84 OttoDAO Early Contributors who brought us thus far. You’re the real G’s who believe in making public goods funding self-sustainable! Expect news about next steps for the DAO in Q1 2025. In the meantime, LottoPGF v1 is open-sourced and available for anyone to use!

These are the steps to follow to redeem your ETH back:

1. Connect your wallet to https://t.co/MLr77rGD8p, and make sure you have some ETH on Ethereum Mainnet to pay for gas fees.

2. Go to the “Tokens” tab and click on “Redeem tokens”

3. Input the amount of tokens you want to redeem*, read and tick the disclaimer box and click on “Redeem tokens for ETH”
*IMPORTANT: Input the amount of “tokens” to redeem, NOT the (redemption) value in ETH! (see example). The “Max” button doesn’t work properly, so it’s better to copy-paste the number next to “Your token balance”.

4. Sign the transaction (on Ethereum Mainnet) and you’ll have your ETH back to your wallet.
