Unfortunately, I can’t come up with a name for my small industrial American narrow gauge engine. It’s meant to be from a railway in Maine. Having exhausted any further ideas, I am obligated to ask you people for suggestions… serious ones. We’ll pick one at some time.
I remember a coastguard friend of mine telling me that they washed up, or appeared from nowhere so often these days. He was involved in accidentally dredging one up, oops
Given that we noticed what might have been an unexplored bomb on my land, i honestly wouldn’t be surprised if it had fired in anger at some bomber, perhaps

I believe in ‘defending’ my land very strongly. Even if basically nothing is actually operational. HM Gov didn’t really bother cleaning up the land after WW2. As it’s Sussex, we‘re facing any nasties…. You’d almost think I have something to hide.

I’m unsure whether my explosives license really covers naval guns, really. It’d be nice to have a heavyweight we can just shift at while to spook any yachts coming to close to my land. It’s British, so it should theoretically move again with minimal effort.

We have a very heavy, very rusty old gun emplaced in a concrete bunker. It’s left over from WW2. Wife was trying to get it to move until a few moments ago. I’m unsure exactly what it is, it’s more like a metal pipe-with-vegetation mix, but she reckons we can make it work again

Damn what anyone else is doing, ignore them. It’s so disappointing. Many of my peers disappoint me. Maybe it’s because I’m actually more rational, and actually want a nice country, not one ripped into twenty pieces by people who just want attention. Must be a woman thing
So many “conservatives” have such a hatred towards the king. That’s not right. Our loyalty should be to the king, the country, and the Lord above, regardless of their views. Trying to rip something apart to ‘fix‘ or ‘reform’ it doesn’t work. Work with what we have first.

Look, at least the conservative-unionist-north-Welsh-nationalist positions of mine have always been as solid as stone… You can be from wales, from Caernavonshire, or from England, from Sussex, one and the same!

Her permanent way in itself is an issue. She doesn’t have much, and I’m currently weighing up how much it’d cost to replace the upper section with proper rail, and then what I’d do with the box rail we currently use.
