Fiscal policy should therefore be assessed not only by its effects on GDP and fiscal balances, but also by who absorbs the adjustment and under what employment conditions.
Thank you to @MiguelJaramillo@GRADEPeru for his valuable and insightful technical comments.

“Informality, Green Jobs & Just Transition in ALC” Evidence shows that green jobs can promote formalization, inclusion & productive development, but only when policies effectively integrate decent work principles, gender equity & social dialogue. PPT here: https://t.co/aqRVp18Izw
Extended paper. The figure shows the survival curves of export sectors in LAC (1988–2024). Sectoral heterogeneity is pronounced and statistically significant (χ² =154.9; p<0.001, multivariate log-rank test). Electronic products seems the most resilient (median survival = 5 years)
Whereas textiles & vehicles exhibit the highest vulnerability (median survival=1 year). This heterogeneity anticipates the emergence of a potential complexity trap in the region. Figure.Kaplan–Meier Survival Curves by Sector for LAC Exports,1988–2024
