@melvininho Yeah it was very apparent when they removed Brantley then proposed censoring ens using ens fairy to burn offensive names. Worst team and seemingly unlimited money relative to their size. It’s been so poorly ran.
@melvininho I’ve tried asking multiple times why gambling sites aren’t using .eth, is there an effort from ens team to pitch to these crypto businesses to use .eth? They’re worried about extracting $ from their current users and fight organic growth with their idea of how growth should look
I remember when the ENS team wanted to tax us on bids, they’ve done such a shit job that now there are no bids & less usage. I will say it’s impressive that they are still finding new ways to do the wrong things even in this market. @nicksdjohnson
@melvininho@garypalmerjr My point is that it’s their mistake they were able to extend at any point of their ownership. They mismanaged their assets and therefore are not entitled to any future value regarding the asset they let expire.
@melvininho@garypalmerjr It clearly states how long you’re paying for ownership of the name when you buy it and there is a grace period of 3 months after expiration of that date for you to renew ownership. There is no need for the new mint fee to go to the previous owner.
@cory_eth He kept reiterating “well what we know for sure is” then sourcing one person who he claims is us gov telling him in a private setting. Then that there are claim cases in the court system that prove it’s true, yet those cases just prove someone is claiming it’s true.
@nicksdjohnson_ Secondary market value isn’t there right now but like I said product is still good and the growth stats aren’t bad.

If you’re still bullish eth then ENS premium market is still inevitable. When price rose so soon previously I was surprised as when I registered I expected to hold 5 years until demand caught up. I remember when two letter instagrams were $40/50 on hackforums and they’re now $10k
@LucemansNL@ensdomains You don’t get to do April fools when majority of people using ens dislike you and are unhappy with how you allocate time and capital.
