@CalTwomey Twomster, could smaller AFL lists create an NBA like system, where AFL teams can pick up players on a waiver like system? I think state leagues would become far more appealing to play in and wages could be higher if the money from the 8-9 former AFL spots went there.

Bit more money in state leagues would also make the standard higher if you could make a decent wage off being a state league level ie. reduced amount of guns chasing coin at lower level
