And so ends the School Centred Learning of my 10th @TeachFirst Summer Institute. We spent the week recognising each other, and without realising, their positivity created a heart. Such a wonderful week #teachfirst #TFSI25 #traineeteacher

It's day 14 of @TeachFirst #TFSI2021. Watching teachers and colleagues in school is such an important part of learning. However there's often so much to take in.Try to isolate aspects, then how those pieces fit together. If they have time ask the teacher how they make decisions.

It's day 13 of @TeachFirst #TFSI2021. Lots of stuff written about feedback. It can be tough to hear at times. The key -listen for the precise, the objective and apply it. Try not to take it as about you but how you can progress your practice in supporting pupils. Keep going.

It's day 4 of #TFSI2021. @TeachFirst. What we teach is fascinating. You will be asked at some point 'why are we learning this? We need to have a strong 'why'. It's a good question and with lots of great answers. Find a good why for what pupils are learning. You are doing great.

It's #WellbeingWednesday and we are watching a live streamed gig from @danielmarkavery. Justbthe perfect way to unwind. Making time to 'recover' is so important. #TFSI2021 #TeachFirst

Day 2 of #TFSI2021 @TeachFirst Hope yesterday went well. Another big day today. Remember you don't need to learn it all at once. Teaching is brilliant but it's also complex. Sometimes learning to do a smaller number of things well is a great start. Good luck today.

@MissRichardsMFL Have a good relax today, for a start. During SI, plan your time, be all in and reflect on what you learn. It will all fall into place over the course of the 5 weeks 🙂
