Introducing LoungeInsider – India's Airport Lounge Discovery Platform ✈️
🌐 https://t.co/hTIaxUAikl
Find complimentary airport lounge access by simply searching your airport, lounge, or credit card.
A project built by a frequent traveller and CC Geek, for fellow travellers. 🧵
@Anupam22X@PointsPro I think you may have used the 080 Arrival Lounge at T2, since Marriott Bonvoy only offers lounge access at that arrival lounge and not at the T1 terminal.
Wondering which cards work at the 080 VIP Domestic Lounge, T1 Terminal Bangalore ? 👀
We checked the list and found 35 credit cards that offer access to this lounge.

If you have any of these cards, just make sure to check the spend requirement and available visits before your trip.
Save this for your next Bangalore airport visit.

🚨 What card works for 080 Bangalore lounge VIP section
A lot of folks asked this and let’s clear this.
I used ICICI Times Black. Emeralde Private Metal also works. I believe ICICI Wealth debit card also should work.
➡️ How to check if your card works:

Go there and generate QR before hand. Also helps in saving time.
Let’s crowd source this!
Please let us know what cards works (with quarterly spend requirements if possible) 👇
@PureGoldCrypto@PointsPro “Unlimited access" is generally used as a broad term, since Times Black offers unlimited visits to 99.99% of the lounges covered under the card.
@PointsPro@Preetishhs24 Yes, if you maintain the required bank balance or TRV, there is no spending condition. Otherwise, the ICICI Wealth Management DC requires ₹10K spending in the last quarter.
@Venkat_vijay_22@PointsPro Yes, BOB Eterna currently works at T1 VIP Domestic and T2 VIP Arrival/Domestic only. Earlier, it also worked at Shalimar Lounge, but that has been stopped now.
@BaivhabG@PointsPro You should have booked the QR code through TFS. Sometimes, the lounge counter may deny entry even if your card provides lounge access. So, it’s better to book the free lounge QR code online before visiting.
@PointsPro@sunny_oswal There are many cards that work at the VIP T1 lounges, and the data on LoungeInsider is accurate. The ticker is only showing a small number of cards, but there are actually many more cards that provide lounge access at the T1 VIP Lounge.
When someone asks:
Which credit card is best for airport lounge access?
The real question is:
Which airport do you fly from most?
Because the best card on paper isn't very useful if the lounge you need isn't covered. #ccgeeks
One simple rule everyone should follow for airport lounge access:
Never assume. Always check.
Just because your card has lounge access doesn’t mean you can walk into any lounge.
The lounge might not be covered, your terminal could have a different lounge, or there might be a spending condition you need to meet.
So, before heading to the airport, just check your card and the lounge once.
Better to check before than get surprised at the lounge counter. 😅 #ccgeeks
Free airport lounge access sounds so simple. 😅
Then you check the actual terms:
Free after ₹X spending.
Only X visits per quarter.
Only selected airports.
Only selected lounges.
And then you realise this “free” lounge access has more conditions than the credit card itself. 😂

IndusInd Bank currently offers airport lounge benefits on 20 credit cards.
We went through all of them to put together a simple breakdown of what each card offers.
The list covers domestic airport lounge coverage, international lounge access, and spending requirements for each card.
There are a few interesting things in the data. Out of the 20 cards, 12 offer international lounge access, while 14 cards have no spending condition for lounge access.

Before upgrading to a premium credit card for lounge access, check one thing:
How often do you actually fly?
If you're flying 2–3 times a year, paying a high annual fee just for lounge access may not make much sense.
Sometimes the simple card is enough.
