our dear 5 year old Bruce is battling DIPG, a rare and aggressive brainstem tumor with a 100% mortality rate. Help us bring him joy and share his message!!!
Bruce’s all time favorite food - corn dogs - now one of the few foods he wants to eat regularly. Perhaps his Make a Wish trip should be to hot dog on a stick. I wish with all my heart that Bruce could live a long and happy life filled with all the corn dogs he could eat. #dipg
It is sadly unrealistic to wish for a cure for DIPG in 2018. The scientific process takes time that we don’t have. Our realistic wish for 2018 is for progress to be made towards finding ways to improve outcomes, to increase awareness, and to promote research. #dipgawareness#DIPG
@thecastlepost Thank you for the gift of a truly special evening for one very excited little knight. Bruce enjoyed his stay so much, and our family had made memories we will never forget! #loveforBruce#DIPG#dipgawareness#DefeatDIPG
Radiation somnolence is a real thing. We want to spend all our minutes of all our days making memories - but Bruce is suffering the serious side effect of lethargy related to his condition and the radiation that is meant to help. #dipg#DefeatDIPG#loveforBruce
Today we are thankful for the gift of time. It is a tragic acknowledgment that too many families have already lost their precious DIPG fighters, or have lost children to other illness or trauma. This Christmas we are grateful for our time with Bruce in any amount we may get.
With five players and even an assistant in on the action, Michigan's fundraiser to dye their hair orange for #ChadTough and DIPG research has now raised more than $80,000 from over 1,300 donors. Story: https://t.co/fXtpDhEIuC
