Happy Fourth, friends. I’ve spent my career diving into the history of America—both the ugly and the beautiful parts of it. Today, I celebrate the HOPE that drove our ancestors. May it continue to push us towards a more perfect Union, together.
My videos are blurry, but I had an amazing time with my daughter at @taylorswift13. I was absolutely blown away watching her art bring so many people together.
I had a great view of her band and had a blast watching them, too. An inspiring night. I’m officially a Swiftie!
Happy weekend, guys. It’ll be hard for me to beat the incredible time we had last weekend with @One805SB, supporting the vital first responders of our area.
They’ve seen us through some difficult times. It felt great to be able to help celebrate their efforts.
Love this art from @LastCinemaHero. It’s been 20 years since I directed Open Range. A really special film that’s been on my heart this week with the passing of the unfailingly kind Michael Gambon. He was a huge talent that I feel lucky to have worked with. May he rest in peace.
“A Perfect World” came out on Thanksgiving weekend 30 years ago. I’ll never forget the impact Clint Eastwood had on me as my Director. He’s a true master of his craft and I’m lucky to have gotten to learn from him on this one.
Who remembers autographs? I get asked more often to take a picture these days, but I’ll never forget how surreal it felt that someone might want my autograph. There’s something really sweet about it.
