In practice, the orgs that I’ve seen that follow the Scrum Guide to the letter never improve beyond that. You can’t be rigid and agile at the same time, and rigid adherence to the rules becomes part of the org culture. Ofc, if you don’t follow it to the letter, it’s not Scrum 😄.
