Let’s be clear: what happened in Pakistan isn’t “Sharia” — it’s corruption and tribal backwardness hiding behind religion.

As a Christian, I can tell you this: no real faith — not Christianity, not Islam — would ever condone punishing an innocent girl for the crime of another. That’s not religion, that’s lawlessness.

The Bible says “The soul who sins shall die” (Ezekiel 18:20) — just like the Qur’an says “No bearer of burdens shall bear the burden of another.” (6:164). True faith holds the guilty accountable, not the innocent.

So don’t smear Islam with the crimes of corrupt men. Blame the broken system, not the faith.

Because if God’s justice was applied, the rapist would face punishment — and the innocent would be protected. Period.
