Our constitution is the law of the land so no one state can have sway over others laws. We were never meant to be a true democracy. That was my point. It's literally in our constitution with our bill of rights.

The three pillars of government exist for that very reason, and if people would start voting on policy instead of red v blue. This country would get a whole lot better.

@kylegriffin1 Astounding that there are many on here wanting this to happen. This is dangerous as it gives congress more power to whoever is the majority.
If you can't see the dangers of this down the road, then you are truly led by your emotions.

My favorite thing about playing a dragonborn in Baldurs Gate 3 is that in dialogues it looks like theyve discorvered they have lips for the first time ever. They wont stop lickin their lips and movin em around
