This picture was taken last night before the 3200 at State. As he often does, Zander offered an opportunity for all of the competitors to pray before the race, making sure that the focus stays on God.

After two weather delays, the 3200 finally got started around 10:30 last night. LPCS junior Zander Ritenour ran an incredibly strategic race to capture 3rd place.

Zander finished with an amazing time of 8:58.65, his first time running under 9:00. What a race!!!

Congratulations to LPCS senior Hayden Korte on his 4th place finish in the High Jump today at the State Championship.

At this minute, that is the best State finish in school history! Junior Zander Ritenour will run in the 3200m run later tonight (weather permitting).

Shout out to our Dynamic Duo throwing tandem of Gracelyn Martin and Luci Young! 💪🏼 🎉

Tonight at Sectionals they both PRd and made the finals of the shotput, with Gracelyn (6th place) breaking her own school record and Luci (9th) beating her previous PR by over 2 feet!! 🤯

Our runners had a great day yesterday at the Lakewood Fun Run!

Helping the little Panthers run the course, collecting shoes for the underprivileged in the Philippines, handing out kettle corn, getting dunked in the dunk tank, and raising more funds for our future track!

Congrats to Zander Ritenour on being named boys meet MVP today at the Hicksville Invite.

Zander’s HUGE day included 4 first place finishes and 3 meet records!

Congratulations to sophomore Carigan Treesh on breaking the school record in the 300 meter hurdles today at the Hicksville Invitational!!

Carigan’s time of 52.14 seconds beat Grace Kamleiter’s record of 52.41 seconds from 2024.

Her jump of 15’9” beat Tori Miller’s record from 2021 by 6 inches!!
