@DoctorWhoPN I get his point, but he lost me when he said "we should sue the BBC for using Twitter". Whether we like it or not, Twitter is still necessary for marketing. Pretending it doesn't exist won't do the show any favors.
@w0ndercolor I really really hope we get a Margot spin-off (or movie) after XO, Kitty, she deserves her own story, and Janel already said she'd be up for it 🙏
@DiscipleOfBrad@drwhoobrasil It just hit me how much cooler the last 5 minutes of The Reality War would've been if 15 regenerated into her instead. She could bump into people who used to know her old face and it'd honestly be the perfect way to explore the Doctor's past
@EddGorenstein@paloma_datgirl What if I told you they're sorta all of them combined? Also, since firebenders can sort of bend heat (bc they conjure up fire from thin air), they're in there too. We've only seen blood benders do it, but every bender could probably mess with your body in similarly horrific ways.
@number1motomami@paloma_datgirl Not necessarily waterbend, but I think with enough training they could move water to some extent. They'd really be pulling oxygen out of the water, but they could make water move up in the process, sort of the same way earthbenders can metalbend through impurities in the metal.
@eveofthedaleks Technically he has 15 episodes, bc 73 Yards, Dot and Bubble and Lucky Day barely count. I think he has more screentime in The Giggle than in those.
@DoctorWhoPN The details aren't public though, so all we can do is speculate, but surely there must be a reason for the delay. Disney must know most international fans have either used VPNs or bought the blu-ray by now, it makes no sense to delay the launch THIS much.
Details aren't public, but I'd bet there's some clause that says the BBC can't close with other streamers until Disney airs the 26 eps. HBO quickly denied talks after rumors surfaced. My guess is they want to keep DW and its fans out of the competition for as long as they can.
'The War Between the Land and the Sea' fails to appear on the Disney+ schedule for May 2026.
At this point, I'm no longer surprised and I think we are all starting to wonder whether the BBC/Disney 26-episode deal has been truncated.
@DoctorWhoPN That's true, but most people don't have the attention span for that (I'm also not sure what happens to the 26 eps once the deal is done, maybe the BBC will get their international rights back at some point, it's hard to imagine they'd give 2 seasons up to Disney ad perpetuam).
@CM2jsm4wk8h @TrilbeeReviews If you have the 14th Doctor and Meep set, GallifreyCustoms made a 3D model of the arms you can print (I think you can probably find it on ebay as well). No jaw though, as there's no plausible way to extend the figure's jaw 😅

@Merc635p1w@DoctorWhoPN I mean, if there is a clause like that, there's probably a maximum duration (maybe the middle or end of 2026), which would explain why the BBC moved up the launch: it could be a way to pressure Disney into airing War Between sooner so they could offer the show to other streamers.
@DoctorWhoPN Disney will probably lose a bunch of paying customers (Doctor Who fans) once they stop being the current home of the show and have nothing else Whoniverse-related to air. The longer they take to air War Between, the longer they'll keep international fans who signed up bc of DW.
@satrifire@arthursj23@twdtelltales Recomendo as da Korra tbm, principalmente pq a Nickelodeon n deixou ela ficar com a Asami na série, então isso só rola mesmo nas HQs
