Interdisciplinary teaching is the key to integrate different disciplines wherein law makes inroads. Unless one integrates the nuances of different disciplines, law teaching will not be complete and the students will not know how the law can be applied.

The apathy of poor lawyering skills of newly graduated students in the courts is a major issue to address. This not only tells upon the future of advocates, it significantly affects justice delivery system. The law schools have major role to play in this regard.

I came to know Tamil Nadu Government has allocated Rs 26 lakhs to the Govt Law Colleges in the State to develop mooting skills for students. It is a commendable initiative. Other state governments should emulate with more allocation. This will enhance advocacy skills of students.
