On Saturday, September 14th the @Ticats were gearing up to face the @REDBLACKS. In the stands was “Cops and Cats,” a @COPSandKIDSca program organized by @HamiltonPolice Detective Constable Jenny Carranza-Mejia.

The event brought female officers and local kids together for a day of fun and friendship. A week before the big game, the crew met at Central Police Station for a chance to mingle, make bracelets, learn about policing, and eat pizza.

The Hamilton Tiger-Cats defeated Ottawa 37-21, but this event wasn’t just about football. It was about hope, trust, and the promise of a brighter future, one game at a time.

All school bus transportation is cancelled for all #HDSB schools. Many Halton municipalities are reporting that side streets are not cleared of snow and we anticipate school staffing shortages. Therefore all HDSB schools and workplaces are closed.
