When
#Tenancyapplicationfraud
meets #whiteprivilege ?
Would the white Letting
Agents have made the same
false statements of fact in
the application to help the white
applicant get the tenancy if
the applicant had been
Black and the Landlord
White? 🤔🧐#Protectionforthecomplexion

@MidDevonDC That’s a great policy. Unfortunately for me the the agents JORDAN FISHWICK LETTINGS and referencing company HomeLet UK who processed my tenants application were the actual perpetrators and facilitators of the Tenancy application fraud. Shouldn’t they be equally prosecuted?
@TrustieSupport What kind of privilege is it when you realize a company like Trust Pilot acts disingenuously to prevent you exposing damages caused by Tenancy Application Fraud carried out by Jordan Fishwick Lettings who are supposed to be regulated by The Property Redress Scheme???
@TrustieSupport is this why you claimed my post was fabricated to justify its removal without responding to my offer to provide the supporting evidence thereby effectively preventing the #tenancyapplicationfraud perpetrators from being exposed by my attempt to warn the public??
The answer is A. At least according to Jordan Fishwick Lettings and HomeLet UK. In my tenants application I discovered after the fact that this is what these to companies did without my knowledge or consent before Jordan Fishwick wrote to tell me everything had passed.
If an applicant lives in a AirBNB he does not have a landlord. What should an agent do?
A. Fix it by altering the application to falsely state the applicant is a private tenant or living with family.
B. Report to and advise the landlord.
C. Close the application.
Answer C according to Jordan Fishwick and HomeLet UK. The Landlord ended up with a tenant who stopped paying rent 6 months ago while elsewhere until the fire brigade entered in emergency after a burst water pipe flooded the house causing the kitchen ceiling to collapse.😫
An applicant writes he is looking for a place in the UK as well as abroad. This is an anticipatory breach of the AST agreement. What should an agent do?
A. Use it as a reminder to to book time off.
B. Report to and advise the landlord.
C. Continue to process the application.
The Answer is B. At least according to HomeLet UK who when challenged said it was accepted because the applicant.. “didn’t have anything else” Then HomeLet neither referred this NHS letter to its underwriters but said they are sure it would have been accepted if they had. 🤷♀️
To fight tenancy application fraud, when an applicant says he cannot provide the conditional POA what should an Agent do?
A. Report to and advise the landlord.
B. Accept a letter from the NHS inviting the applicant to take part in a survey.
C. Close the application.
@LandlordAction If an agent gives a landlord the terms of agreement and the contract is executed but the terms are not signed can the agent change the terms retrospectively to avoid any liability?
What should be done if an applicant provides the same national insurance and payroll number for themselves as is provided for the financial referee? This is what I discovered in my tenants application that was carried out processed by a certain company.
