I actually did this and chose A
thereโs a basically fine way of living in Delhi, and driving around Kashmir in a Jeep
but the best option for city life is C
and if you want a clean, relaxed beach and hills life you choose F and stay in Kerala, surf in Pondicherry
Why are the lines drawn this way?
My flight from Southeast Asia to San Francisco is 90%+ Indian.
Not flying from India and Iโm not on an Indian airline.
Indian immigration (and travel) is going turbo mode whether you like it or not.
I personally like Indian people in general and think their manners (subjective) will improve just like every other developing countryโs has.
By the way, generally, I find that Indian people are very thoughtful and kind to my children, which I appreciate.
This does not mean that I support infinite Indian immigration to the United States or any other country, especially when ethnic identity is part of that countryโs ethos.
What I am saying is that get ready for a lot of Indian immigrants and visitors, no matter where you live (unless you live in North Korea), because itโs going to happen and if you canโt adapt to that, you will be worse off.
Indiaโs domestic economic situation and demographic bulge combined with the rest of the worldโs demographic shortfall and the tendency for trade to happen no matter what, guarantee it.
Awrite Thank you India ๐ฎ๐ณ see you when I see you โ itโs been real!

I believe in India because I saw China transform in a way that I never thought possible.
Yeah the buildings and trains are amazing, but the way people behaved changed completely.
If China could, why canโt India?
People blame genetics for behaviors that are driven by culture and incentives.
India has a lot of disadvantages that China did not have:
- more chaotic government
- more languages, less national identity
- AI poses a greater threat to their industries
But India also has advantages that China did not have:
- better English language skills (also can be a negative)
- more accomplished diaspora who can return
- rising in an era without a clear hegemonic power
The things I see people mock India for, I saw firsthand in tier 3 city China 15 years ago.
I watched a chef drop a wok of rice on the floor and put the rice right back into the wok.
I saw a pile of manure that got dumped in the downtown.
Broken glass and sharp wires at neck height everywhere.
Gutter oil! Restaurants cooking with used oil from other restaurants.
Is India more dysfunctional in states like Bihar than this?
Yes, but I think they can fix it, just needs time, education, and different incentives.
Will they match China?
No one will ever, but they can be unique and great in their own Indian way.
