@n194at @JFKairport @FlyPanAm @panamhistory I went to LHR to see the FIRST arrival of the Pan Am Boeing 747 service from JFK a stand in aircraft after the original had tech problems. The equipment used was "Clipper Constitution" later renamed also this equipment was the one involved in the Tenerife incident .

@n194at @dusairport I flew MAN + IBZ onboard Dan-Air London G-APDL and G-APDB Comet 4 in the 60s and remember it very well.. great days of aviation for me.

@n194at @manairport The Avro 146 a lovely aircraft..I got to fly the Simulator a few times at Woodford both arrivals and departures at LCY.. the 6° glideslope is a game changer.

@n194at @manairport Great memories of Britainnia Airways and in particular the B767 while working for Servisair MAN I took a staff Ticket flight to MCO and as it was an end of season positioning flight with just the crew and 28 staff pax we had the best flight experience ever.. great memories..

@n194at @edelweiss330 @manairport I used to work at MAN in PAX Services and Load Control Dispatch for Servisair and Air 2000 call sign Jet Set was one of the airlines we handled and I got on many of the aircraft including the Boeing 757-200 on one occasion I flew on the flight deck from Manchester to Rhodes..
