Japanese language,culture,geology,geography & history woven through his story set in the 2011 Tsunami & Fukushima disaster.

Words & books inspire...& numbers can too. Congrats to our younger readers @lythamhigh who managed to rack up an incredible 5.5 thousand books quizzed & 210 million words read on the reading scheme alone. Students borrowed 6,800 books & we awarded 52 'million-word' reader pins.
@lythamhigh we're gifting 50 signed books by @sufiyaahmed to students about the muslim woman and courageous hero Noor Inayat Khan, who spied for Churchill in Nazi occupied France in WWII.
@lythamhigh library we have been busy through keyworker school but managed to upgrade our Japanese Manga collection thanks to the expertise of one our student Library Leaders, arigato gozaimasu Faith!

The @lythamhigh initiative on the #Holocaust is superb and inspiring. This is a long term interest at the School, with numerous visits to #Auschwitz and a few years ago a staggering Mal Smith/student audience participation drama which I remember as it was yesterday.
