Hey everyone, my name is Lindsey Jackson and I go to The Akron STEM High school. This page will be used to explain my Capstone so you can see my progress.
Currently,y website is no different than any other voting website. So, now I am going back and making my website more relatable for young adults. Stay tuned for my updated website.

I met with my reviewers and got a lot of great feedback on the progress of my website. They said that all the info was great but, they want it to be more interactive.

My website has the same concept as the app. I found that many websites have mobile functions so the website can work like an app. Wednesday, I will have another meeting with my reviewers to get feedback on the site.

After my meeting with my reviewers, they saw how I was struggling with my app. They both agreed that they would rather have a good website more than an okay app. So yes, I am starting over again.
@STEMcapstone#STEMImplement#theteenvoteinitiative
I began my app making process. When I tried to publish it I found out you have to pay. I cannot pay to make this app. So, I will be trying a new app maker called https://t.co/7kTmZwyJls. Hopefully, this will work better.

I finished my prototype. Now I am working on creating a real app. I have a lot of good feedback and ideas on how to make my app great. I have never made an app before, so I plan on talking to Coach Appleby to get some tips.

After getting feedback, I redid my prototype. This time I added pictures and more color to make the app more interesting. I also slowed down the demonstration, so it is easier to see. Next step, creating the real app.

Shout out to Mariah and Delaney for giving me great feedback throughout my implement stage. Delaney thinks more color would make the app more welcoming. Mariah would like to see my prototype again but with real facts.

I met with my reviewers and I got some feedback on my prototype. One of the main takeaways was to add pictures and graphics because the prototype was kind of dull. I had not thought of that before, so it was extremely helpful. @STEMcapstone#STEMImplement#theteenvoteinitiative
I just finished my first prototype for my app. After feedback from Coach Metcalf, I have changed the program and I am now using https://t.co/LQQBO0UAVS. I am excited to get feedback from Greer and my reviewers.

I am currently working on building my app for #theteenvoteinitiative, using a website called https://t.co/SfyRtAn5UW . I am still messing around with the features and trying to figure out how to incorporate all my information.

The weather has been bad, so I have not been able to meet with my reviewers. Instead, I have been thinking all the things I would like to have in my app and basic ideas on how I want it to be set up. @STEMcapstone#STEMImplement#theteenvoteinitiative
I met with my reviewers and got some great feedback on #theteenvoteinitiative. Couple main things they want to be included on the app.
- make the app pop (teen/young adult focused)
- show teens what the candidates can do for them specifically
@STEMcapstone#STEMImplement
I want to create an app that provides the issues and candidates for each state, for the election. As I am working on the prototype for the app I am struggling with the creativity aspect. I want to create something that is 1/3 @STEMcapstone#STEMimplement
interesting for teens to look at versus the websites and apps already created but I am not sure what they would like. So I am going to have a talk with my review group and I’m going to see the type of stuff they would like on the app. 2/3 @STEMcapstone#STEMimplement
My capstone project is to create something to help young adults, mainly focusing on high school and college-aged people to become more involved in voting and the voting process. @STEMcapstone
