This is my small dad, Simon.
He is a fisherman.
The mass of water behind him used to be his village.
Here he is posing for a photo but that is not where he fishes. He goes further out into the sea because the water near land is too hot for fish.

Ye originally wanted Lauryn Hill on “All Falls Down” in 2004 as it interpolates her song “Mystery of Iniquity,” but he couldn’t get the sample cleared at the time
Two decades later he brings her out to perform it together for the first time in front of a sold-out crowd of 80,000 fans 🔥🔥🔥
LEGENDARY 🤯
Happy Endings (2011–2013) got cut short because of messy timeslot changes, not lack of interest, and that quick, chaotic friend-group energy, rapid-fire jokes, and perfect cast chemistry made it feel like it could run forever.
Britney threw drinks at them, hit their cars, and attacked them with an umbrella, and she's literally the reason why there's a law in the US regarding paparazzi now, and you want us to give credit to Chappell?? Not to mention Britney was hounded by 100+ paparazzi, and Roan has 3
@spicebae_ Looking back, 2000s era shoved toxic situations and relationships in our faces and try to make it look acceptable. All that stuff came back to haunt us in our own relationships in our 20s and 30s.
Minnie Riperton's 1975 performance of "Lovin' You" on the Midnight Special is remembered as one of the most breathtaking vocal moments in television history.
It's a Narnia reunion! 🤩
Andrew Adamson, Georgie Henley, William Moseley, Skandar Keynes, and Anna Popplewell celebrate the 20th anniversary of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe ❤️
A great has passed.
Homayoun Ershadi, my father in The Kite Runner, a magnificent soul who touched so many millions of people around the world. I am so sad to hear of your passing.
What an honour to have worked with you, and to be able to recall and cherish your voice and energy and humour.
It is a very special bond when someone plays your father in film. It certainly was for me. In the photo of us together, I know exactly what he’s saying - This is my son. He’s like my son.
What a special bond that film created for us, before the world wrote us into other stories.
My condolences to his family and friends, and all those whose lives he touched. If you don’t know him, please search out his films.
His first was with Abbas Kiarostami, who spotted him at a traffic light in his Land Rover smoking one of his Bahman cigarettes, and asked him to do a screen test for what became The Taste of Cherry. The first of these images. His soul in that film is at the heart of the Palme d’Or the film won.
