While I've been getting ready for the EQ draft tourney I've come to the conclusion that I'm pretty happy that I haven't gotten into VGC this time around. Maybe it's just my disconnect from it now, but accessibility feels lower when it comes to actually getting mons/teambuilding

2nd game of the year off the list is Sifu! This game is GORGEOUS and I almost regret not playing it sooner. I don't think I've seen a more visually intricate and appealing game. There's so much here to soak up with every retry. I only got one of the endings, but I'm ok with that.

Finished Super Mario RPG last night! A very quirky and fun time, I love how spin offs make the cast seem so much more interesting + all of the characters that are unique to this game alone as far as I know. Congrats to being the first game I finished this year!

Tbh I have 0 motivation to stream. Nothing I'm playing rn makes me want to sit down and share the experience that way + I'm always busy irl with something. That said, I've been working on a video essay that I plan on launching next month that feels more in line with what I like.

Maybe things will change when I get a better job with more consistent hours and a tighter schedule (current job is hoeing me for meh reasons), but I also just feel very indifferent about streaming outside of trying to get a paycheck with the new sub split they announced.
